Marisol Maddox is a graduate student in the International Security MA program at George Mason University. She is also an intern at the Woodrow Wilson Center's Polar Institute where she researches the security implications of an opening Arctic, the potential for sustainable US presence in the Arctic region, and related international partnership opportunities.
