Daniel Cnossen
MA candidate, Harvard Kennedy School
Daniel is a Master's student in Public Administration program at the Harvard Kennedy School. Before entering Harvard, he served in the United States Navy for a total of thirteen years and exited the service in 2015. He was a participant in the Harvard Kennedy School Study Group China Visit 2016 sponsored by CUSEF.

The area in which I was most interested was foreign policy. Meeting with the general (Yao Yunzhu) and the policy think tank was very useful, and helped to usher a new understanding of Chinese territorial concerns on its periphery.
