Dr. Yifan Hu is Chief Economist and Head of Research of Haitong International. Based in Hong Kong, Dr. Hu leads her team in providing in-depth and timely macro and equity analysis covering Great China. Her views and columns could be found in leading financial media including WSJ, FT, Bloomberg, Reuters, Finance, CNBC, CCTV, and Phoenix TV. Dr. Hu holds Ph. D in Economics from Georgetown University, Washington DC; and Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Economics from Zhejiang University, P.R.China. Dr. Hu is currently a visiting fellow of PIIE.
