Edwin J. Feulner, Ph.D. -- Chairman, Asian Studies Center in Heritage Foundation
Dr. Edwin J. Feulner is the Founder of The Heritage Foundation and Chairman of its Asian Studies Center. Previously, he served as President of The Heritage Foundation (1977-2013) and from May 2017-December 31, 2017; Executive Director, Republican Study Committee, U.S. House of Representatives; Administrative Assistant to Philip M. Crane, MC; Confidential Assistant to Secretary of Defense Melvin R. Laird; Public Affairs Fellow, Hoover Institution, Stanford University; and Center for Strategic & International Studies. He received his BS from Regis University, 1963; MBA, Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania 1964; Richard Weaver Fellow, London School of Economics, 1965; Ph.D., University of Edinburgh and is the recipient of 11 honorary degrees and numerous awards and citations. Dr. Feulner is the author of seven books: The American Spirit (2012), Getting America Right with Doug Wilson (2006), Leadership for America (2000), Intellectual Pilgrims (1999), The March of Freedom (1998), Conservatives Stalk the House (1983), and Looking Back (1981). Editor of U.S. – Japan Mutual Security: The Next Twenty Years, and China – The Turning Point. Articles by him have appeared in major publications around the world, and his weekly column appears in dozens of newspapers across the country. He has served on numerous Presidential and Congressional commissions and task forces.
